RISD is excited to welcome Nurse Kim Larsen to Royal High School! A message from Nurse Larsen:
I would like to introduce myself to Royal ISD. My name is Kim Larsen and I am the new nurse here at Royal ISD High School. I would like to share a little bit about myself both professionally and personally.
I have been a nurse for over 25 years. I have a very diverse nursing background and I have worked in the following areas:
- Medical/Surgical Nursing
- Neurology
- Pediatrics/Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health/Addiction/Recovery services
- Community Nurse Educator/Liaison
- School Nurse- Streetsboro City Schools in Ohio for 4 years and Katy ISD 1 year. In Streetsboro I was the nurse for K-12 and at Katy ISD I was at the Elementary school PK-5
Personally I am married to an AMAZING man. We live with four dogs, two cats, goats, and hopefully a couple chickens soon! I am originally from the state of Ohio, but have called Texas home for the last 16 years. I am a HUGE football fan, love fantasy football, love the outdoors and love to golf when I get the chance.
I am very excited to be a part of this new community. Please feel free to come by the clinic and introduce yourself as I am eager to meet each and everyone of you. Also, my door is always open if you have a question or a concern that I can help with. GO FALCONS!
