Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers

The Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers – one component of the Raising Texas Teachers initiative – is designed to encourage the best and brightest students to consider a future in the teaching profession. Scholars receive up to $8,000 in annual funding for up to four years, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities, mentorship from sitting public school educators, and participation in a statewide aspiring teachers network facilitated by the Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation.

Go Public’s High School Art Tote Contest

Go Public is spotlighting high school art programs as part of their fine arts promotions. High school art students have the opportunity to submit art that will be featured on tote bags. A $250 scholarship and other prizes are a part of the student opportunity. 

Submissions Period: April 12th, 8AM through April 16th 5PM. Winners will be announced on April 28th, 5PM (times are Central Time).

ISN Skilled Trade & Technology Scholarships

Growing demand and lack of qualified workers in skilled trades and technology means it’s a great time to go back to school and enter these lucrative and fast-growing industries. To help keep up with demand and assist the next generation of professionals, ISN will award a $2,000 scholarship four times a year to eligible students.

Royal FFA Advisory Committee Scholarship

The purpose of the Royal FFA Advisory Committee Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to graduating FFA members wishing to pursue a bachelor's degree or technical certification from a college, university, or technical school in preparation for a career in the diverse arena of agriculture. The scholarship applicants must enroll in a department or college of agriculture and major in a field of agriculture. Exceptions will be considered on an individual basis contingent upon the approval of the advisory committee (Ag majors will be given preference).

Royal ISD Education Foundation Scholarship Application

The Education Foundation is pleased to provide scholarships to deserving seniors who plan to attend a 4-year college or university, junior/community college, or a trade/technical school after graduation. For the 2020-2021 school year, the Education Foundation will award four (4) scholarships in the amount of $500 each. Any student graduating from Royal ISD with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or higher is welcome to apply.
