Royal Welcomes Katacha Miller as RES (PK-1) Assistant Principal

Royal ISD is pleased to welcome Katacha Miller as the new Assistant Principal at Royal Elementary (PK-1). Ms. Miller was born in Daingerfield, TX. She grew up in Brookshire and Katy, and attended Royal ISD from Kindergarten through 8th grade. She graduated high school from Faith West Academy.

Ms. Miller completed her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education at Prairie View A&M University (2003). She received her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in 2015. 

She brings with her 17 and a half years of experience in education and has taught  Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. She has also been  a reading interventionist and has served in leadership roles such as team leader, campus mentor, and webmaster. She loves working with staff, parents, and students. 

She has one older sister and is newly engaged to her best friend! Her hobbies include listening to music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Ms. Miller lists her motto to live by as Colossians 3:23. When asked to describe herself in one word, she chose "committed".
