February is Black History Month

Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their role in U.S. history. This year's Black History Month theme, “African Americans and the Vote,” is in honor of the Nineteenth Amendment granting women’s suffrage and the of the Fifteenth Amendment giving black men the right to vote.
