Royal FFA Sets New Record!

NEW RECORDS SET IN 63rd ANNUAL ROYAL FFA SHOW AND PROJECT AUCTION

Over $292,000.00 in Sales and Add-ons as of Monday, March 25th

Total effort including BBQ Luncheon & Ag Club activities will exceed $300,000.00

The 2019 FFA Project Show, Parade and Auction is now history with new records in every category of this annual event. Add-ons for student projects are coming in daily and will continue until Wednesday, March 27th (press day). As of Monday, the auction total exceeded $292,000.00, which breaks the 2017 record of $287,000.00 for the exact same number of lots sold.

Record selling prices were for set in each of the individual divisions as well, which include:

Other activities associated with this traditional FFA event included the BBQ luncheon which fed over 680 people; and the AG Club Silent Auction/Raffle which rallied over $9,000.00 in sales to be shared amongst this year’s senior class in scholarships. The FFA Parade was another HUGE success for the participants, as well as those who viewed this years’ entries along the parade route. Congratulations to the STEM/ECHS campus for being awarded the Best of Theme trophy at the parade award ceremony. Special Thanks to Mr. Evelio Fernandez of Goya Foods for serving as this years’ Parade Marshal!

A Sale “Grand Total” along with a wrap up of the entire weekend activities will be in the April 4th edition of the Times Tribune.
