Eight Falcon TAFE Students Qualify for National Competition

On March 2nd-4th, 14 students from the Royal Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) chapter competed at our state competition at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock.  We are excited to share that 8 FALCON TAFE STUDENTS ADVANCED to NATIONALS!

They are as follows:

Interactive Bulletin Board- Vladimir Moreno and Leo Robles-Lara

Interactive Bulletin Board- Eleanor Recinos and Kimberly Pedraza

Spanish Children’s Literature- Sara Melendez and Andrea Rico

Spanish Children’s Literature- Luis Diaz

Public Speaking- Vladimir Moreno

Creative Lecture- Alexcia Garcia

The Chapter Yearbook team won Gold! These students are Eleanor Recinos, Kimberly Pedraza, Melina Mendonca and Areli Valdez.

Other students who also competed at state were:

  • Ethical Dilemma- Gabriel Velasquz, Cristian Sosa, and Kelsey Jung
  • Spanish Children’s Literature- Ciana Diaz and Gabriel Velasquez

Please congratulate these students for their accomplishments!  Our 8 TAFE students who advanced to Nationals will compete June 29-July 2nd in Orlando, Florida at the SeaWorld Resort! Mrs. Beyer, TAFE advisor, is very proud of their hard work and is excited for the opportunities and experiences that her students receive through TAFE.
