Good afternoon, Today there was a lockdown DRILL conducted at Royal Elementary School. It was NOT prompted by any actual threat to the students or the school. Lockdown drills are often conducted to ensure that students and staff are familiar with the procedures to follow in a real emergency. These drills are essential for preparedness and help in practicing how to respond to potential threats, such as intruders or other dangerous situations. Parents, please discuss with your student the importance of following all safety protocols. If you have any specific questions or concerns related to the lockdown or the drill, please don't hesitate to contact the campus principal. Thank you, Royal Elementary School
