My name is Diana Johnston, I have been in education for 18 years. I started off as an aide in life skills in Katy ISD then a high school counselor secretary. While I was a counselor secretary I went to college at night to become a teacher. I was in my mid 40's when I started my college career. I am very proud of myself to accomplish this goal and I believe anything is possible if you put you mind to it. My first teaching job was here at Royal as a Kindergarten teacher. I taught Kindergarten for 4 years and now I am a PE teacher which is my love.

I have 3 grown children and 6 grandkids with a new granddaughter due in April. I have 2 sisters which both are teachers one sister is a high school art teacher and the other is a Pre-K teacher. I love working with students and can't wait to see what 2020 has in store for me.
