Beautiful artwork from Royal Elementary!

Recently, some concerns were expressed regarding the ECC/RES Christmas performance. The staff at Royal ECC and RES work diligently to make the shows go as smoothly as possible, but some hiccups are often unavoidable when arranging the performance of 400 little stars. Performances are combined because ECC/RES are one school split into two buildings. In addition, many parents have students at both campuses, making a combined performance easier for them to manage. Transportation and the importance of practicing at the performance location also present a challenge. Space limitations at the campus make standing inevitable for some of the guests. RISD police had to request an officer from Brookshire Police Department because some of our visitors were not interacting with each other nicely. We will continue to examine each performance to identify and implement improvement opportunities. Thank you to all who supported our students by attending the 2019 ECC/RES Christmas performance. We look forward to seeing you at the Spring Concert.
