RES PE Coach Chad Smith, invited his Omega Psi Phi Fraternity brothers - Epsilon Omicron, Katy Chapter – to explore career paths with RES students. Also, RHS Nurse Qiana Armstead, member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority came to reinforce Character Building with our students. 3.3.26
RES announced our most regarded staff awards....Ms. Larin Clement - Music, is our ‘New Teacher of the Year’ recipient, Ms. Kristen Lopez - 5th grade, is our ‘Teacher of the Year’ and Ms. Jacqueline Farris - Principal's secretary, was awarded ‘Paraprofessional of the Year’. Royal Elementary kicked off Black History Month by having a Second Line Themed Mardi Gras Parade on February 9th.
REWIND: For the 4th year in a row, RHS Band came and graced our hallways with Second Line music as students with decorated umbrellas danced behind them in traditional "SECOND LINE" style.......... 2.9.26

After reading The Legend of the Poinsettia by Tomie dePaola, our second graders created their own Mexican poinsettias in Art using warm-colored tempera paint and sponges to stamp the leaves 🎨🌺
