Prior Experience: I am entering my 29th year in education. I started my career in West Texas as a 4th grade Bilingual teacher. I later served as an AP at the elementary, junior high and high school level as well as elementary principal. Prior to coming to Royal ISD, I was the Assistant Superintendent of Support Services in Dayton ISD. I worked with Maintenance, Custodial, Child Nutrition, Transportation and Safe & Secure schools.

1-2 goals you’d like to accomplish during your first year in your new role: I want to spend this year getting to know everyone and discovering how we can support each other and help each other grow.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I enjoy spending time with my family and playing golf.
