Dear Royal ISD Families,

Royal ISD invites parents, guardians, and community members to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at your student’s campus.

Public meetings will be held at the following campuses:

• Royal Prairie Elementary School, 7560 Bartlett Road, Katy, TX 77493

• Royal Elementary School, 2222 Durkin Road, Brookshire, TX 77423

• Royal Junior High School, 2520 Durkin Road, Brookshire, TX 77423

During the meeting stakeholders will review current campus drafts of instructional strategies, actions, etc. and continue development of the campus Targeted Improvement Plan or Turnaround Plan. Parents and community members will have an opportunity to provide input and feedback as part of this process.

We value the voices of our families and community and encourage you to attend and share your feedback as we continue working to support student success at Royal ISD.

These meetings are being held in accordance with Texas Education Code (TEC) §39A.055 and §39A.056, which require campuses developing a Targeted Improvement Plan to provide parents and community members an opportunity to participate in the improvement planning process
