Damaris Schelmettyis a fifth grade teacher. She obtained her Bachelor Degree for Elementary Education at the University of Puerto Rico in 1999. She has been teaching for the past 21 years. The first 17 years were taught in Puerto Rico and the last 4 years at Royal Elementary. She is married to Jose Lopez and has two young boys Ricardo and Yadiel.
