Hey there! My name is Lauren Miller, and I am a first-year teacher. I am a native Texan and Houstonian (although I technically live in Katy). I graduated from the University of Houston – Downtown with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in 2011 and 2013. Before starting my teaching career, I was working as an actress. I performed in several shows around Houston, but my favorite performances were with Main Street Youth Theater. I loved interacting with the children who came to see the shows and decided that I was ready to make a change and begin my teaching career. In my free time I love reading and playing with my two dogs, Watson and Moriarty.
