My name is Luz America Diaz. I was born and raised in Colombia, SouthAmerica. I live in Katy with my husband and our dachshund Chloe. I have two adult children and an adorable grandson.

In my spare time, I love to travel. I have had the opportunity to visit a few countries in Europe and most of South America. My dream is to visit Jerusalem. My hobby is to collect dolls and snow globes from around the world.

I graduated from Universidad Pedagogica in Bogota, Colombia and became a teacher Texas thirteen years ago. Eight of those years, I have been working for Royal ISD as a First grade teacher. I have also taught Second and Pre-K at other school districts.
