Hello, my name is Kristen Lopez and I’m a first-year teacher. I grew up in Pattison, Texas and attended Royal from Pre-k to 12th grade. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University in December 2019 with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies. I’m thrilled to teach 3rd grade math and science this year in the community I grew up in.

I currently live in Sealy, Texas. I have two Yorkshire Terriers, Ollie and Bella. They are super energetic and give the best cuddles. I enjoy listening to music, outdoor activities, and hanging with family and friends.
