My name is Christin Shelden. I was born and raised in the nearby city of Katy. I am a proud wife and mother. My husband and I have been married for three years. Our sweet and silly boy is almost one year. I want to inspire my son and my future students to work hard and never give up on your dreams!

I originally started student teaching with an internship program my senior year of high school. I worked many years in childcare, but chose a different career path and went into the business world after graduating from Sam Houston State University. The time has come and I'm now back where I was meant to be! I'm very excited to be teaching math and science with the third-grade team here at Royal.
