I am so excited to be here in Royal ISD. I started my teaching career in Guadalajara, and have enjoyed teaching here in Houston as Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade bilingual teacher for 11 years in different schools’ districts, Cypress Fairbanks, Alief, and Fort Bend. I am married and I have one daughter that got married recently. She is a teacher, and my husband is also working as a teacher. The whole family loves kids. Some of my favorite hobbies are painting and jogging.

My teaching philosophy is to motivate young students to learn new language skills, experiencing new routines, learning to interact and socialize with peers and adults and become independent learners. It should be a wonderful positive experience. My goal for this year is to help my students to grow academically, socially, emotionally and develop a love for learning.
