Royal ISD is excited to announce that Falcon graduate Nick Gonzales has been named as the incoming Royal Career & Technical Education Director. Current CTE Director Ronnie Melton will hand over the reins in January 2024. We thank Mr. Melton for his many years of service to Royal ISD, and we are excited to welcome Mr. Gonzales to the role in January.
Mr. Gonzales has been on the team at Royal for ten years. When asked why he works at Royal, he responded, "To develop young men and women of character in my home and community." His contribution to the district mission statement of "investing in our tomorrow" is to work with stakeholders to get 1% better each day.
