Hello Fellow Falcons! I am Katacha Miller and I am the Principal at Royal Early Childhood Center. I was born in Daingerfield, TX. I grew up in Brookshire and Katy, TX. I attended Royal ISD for Kindergarten through 8th grade. I graduated high school from Faith West Academy. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education (2003) from Prairie View A&M University. I received a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas (2015). I enjoy listening to music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I'm entering my 21st year in education. I’ve taught Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I have also served in leadership roles such as team leader, campus mentor, webmaster, and reading interventionist. I love working with teachers, staff, parents, and students. My Motto to live by is Colossians 3:23. One word to describe myself is: committed. I'm looking forward to a great school year!
