Students in grades 6-8 that are enrolled in Principles of Construction had the opportunity to create their very own exotic wood writing pen. The pens are designed by students on a midi lathe, finished with a shellac finish, and assembled. Students develop basic turning skills, finishing techniques, and hand skills useful in higher level CTE classes in their future. #WeAreRoyal #InvestingInOurTomorrow
