Each Friday in January, Royal will post about "School Board Recognition" month. A recent tweet from Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) stated, "It's officially #SchoolBoardMonth! We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the 7,000+ Texas school board members who selflessly serve their local schools and communities."
In a recent Facebook post, a community member shared appreciation for Board Trustee Mr. Elton Foster's commitment to "walking the hallways weekly, talking and LISTENING to teachers, students and staff. Additionally, he makes time to attend our athletic and fine art events. He truly is committed to our students."
