We hope this letter finds you and your families safe and well! We wanted to let you know about an opportunity to offer financial support to our local FFA members and their Livestock & Horticulture projects. Project move-in at the Royal ISD CTE Expo Center was scheduled for March 26-28 in preparation for the 64th annual event.
All “normal activities and operations” at Royal ISD have been disrupted/postponed through April 10th due to circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus. The Royal FFA Advisory Committee and RISD CTE Department have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s FFA Show, Parade, and Auction. An alternative approach has been developed to procure funds to assist students in recovering cost(s) associated with purchasing and caring for their animals.

Enclosed, please find a 2020 Letter to Royal FFA Supporters plus (2) forms for you to consider should you decide to participate in this years’ 2020 Royal FFA ADD-ON & Pledge Drive:
- The first is a single-page ADD-ON Form that lists each student and their unduplicated project selection. Please review this form, and complete with the amount that you choose to donate directly to the students.
- The second is a LIVESTOCK & HORTICULTURE Pledge Form where supporters may purchase projects at a “set price” based on amounts calculated by the RISD Agriculture Teaching staff as breakeven values.
We appreciate your willingness to support our FFA students in these trying times. Your commitment demonstrates the rich legacy, lore, and tradition of the Royal FFA support network!
