Greetings, Falcon family!
Summer is here, and we are so proud of all our Falcons for all the great things they accomplished during the 2022-2023 school year! As you head into summer, please check out the 2023 Summer Activity Guide.

Here are just some of the things our Falcons accomplished:
- Achieved a new state Conference 4A State Record in the 4x200 and first place in state in the 4x100
- Approximately $1.2 million in scholarships were awarded to Class of 2023 graduates, including several full scholarships in athletics, fine arts, and CTE
- State qualifiers in Academic UIL
- HLSR Student Art Competition Auction qualifiers
- The Royal Marching Sound Machine won its first sweepstakes in 43 years, achieving superior ratings in marching, concert, and sight reading competitions
- Passage of Royal Bond 2023, which will positively impact every Falcon learner
- Royal Early Childhood Center was named a Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) National Showcase School
- Enlistments in the United States Armed Forces
- 24 associate degrees awarded to ECHS students and 1,756 college hours completed by ECHS students
- And many, many more!
Congratulations and best wishes to our Falcon Class of 2023 graduates! We are so very proud of each of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish!
This will be the last “This Week at Royal” until August. The team at Royal will be spending the coming months getting ready for the 2023-2024 school year, so watch the website and your email for back-to-school updates throughout the summer.
