Royal JH and Royal STEM Academy were proud to welcome Associate Principal of RHS and Principal of ECHS Natalie Alexandre and RHS Lead Counselor Tisheka Brown. They surprised a group of our Falcon eighth graders with news of their acceptance into the Royal Early College High School program. Royal experienced a record number of applicants this year.
Eighty-three Falcons applied, and all were accepted into the program, making the class of 2028 the largest ECHS class in Royal ISD history.
Royal Early College High School allows students to receive an associate degree when they graduate from Royal ISD, at no cost to their families. The program allows them the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree just two years after high school if they choose to do so.
Royal Assistant Superintendent Duana Brashear, Maggie Barrientos from RHS, Priscilla Alegria from RHS, Christi Ginn from Communications, and leadership at each campus joined the celebration.
