Royal ISD is proud to announce that our students had historic success this year at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) Student Art Contest. In addition to the best of show and gold medal winners that usually advance, three of our talented artists also advanced to the HLSR art auction. Falcons received Best of Show at the high school, junior high, and elementary levels. Each auction piece should receive a minimum of $2,500 for their drawings. The awards ceremony takes place on February 10 and the auction will be held on March 10. Please go check out their artwork if you visit this year's HLSR!
