In 1987, President Ronald Reagan declared the first week in October as National Yearbook Week. Fast-forward to today and this week is still celebrated by schools across the country.

In his proclamation, President Reagan stated, “School yearbooks not only chronicle educational achievement and school tradition but are a part of them."
