SOARing to Greatness! Mrs. Jones’ Aquatic Science classes took a hands-on approach to learning about water filtration. Students explored how water moves through various layers, comparing the permeability of rocks and sand. They also investigated how oils and solids are filtered out, and more, by constructing their own filter columns. This engaging project provided a deeper understanding of the science behind water purification!
Huge shoutout to the Houston Food Bank and Communities in Schools for their incredible support of our teachers. Today, Royal High School educators who participated in the program received their first set of supplies from the Teacher’s Aide program.
