Royal High School is celebrating Black History Month with two performances on Wednesday, 2/19. The second performance will take place tonight at 7pm at the high school campus. Following are pictures of the celebration and displays around the campus to honor individuals who changed the world. Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their role in U.S. history. This year's Black History Month theme, “African Americans and the Vote,” is in honor of the Nineteenth Amendment granting women’s suffrage and the of the Fifteenth Amendment giving black men the right to vote.
