RHS Students Helping Others

Every year the Royal FCCLA chapter participates in Operation Christmas Child. This project helps children in other countries who do not get Christmas gifts due to poverty, war, and other tragedies that they face in their everyday life. People across the world team up to ensure that these children know that someone out there is thinking about them. This year Mrs. Honeycutt, the Royal FCCLA advisor, teamed up with her mother Mrs. Beyer, who know leads the Royal FBLA chapter, to make sure that even more students get presents this year. For the Beyer family, this project has been a holiday tradition since Mrs. Honeycutt was four years old. When she became a teacher, she decided to extend this tradition to her students. Children across the world will rejoice when they get these wonderful presents. So, thank you to Mrs. Beyer who started the tradition, Mrs. Honeycutt who continued, and the students who participated.
