It’s been a great week in Falcon country! Our Falcons accomplish amazing things every day, and we love celebrating all of their successes! Starting today, we will share a “Sunday Spotlight” each Sunday at 7pm to celebrate a great moment that happened during the prior week. Things to Note:
- Royal High School was excited to hold the inaugural Winter Graduation on Thursday, January 18. Fourteen class of 2023 Falcons graduated, and ten of the 14 participated in the ceremony.
- Congratulations to the Semifinals Bound Lady Falcons Soccer Stars! The Lady Falcons Soccer Team took first place at the Rice Tournament, securing their spot in the semifinals. Please join us at Falcon Stadium on Tuesday, January 23 at 5:15pm to cheer them to victory!
- The MJROTC travelled to New Orleans for a color guard competition. JV Color Guard won 1st place and Varsity Color Guard won 2nd place. Great job, Falcons!
- Royal ECC launched the AR (Accelerated Reader) Program with our 1st Grade Students! Special thanks to Mrs. McBride, Mrs. Ruedas, RECC Staff, Mrs. Woods, and other volunteers who made this possible! 🤗❤️💙📚
- A Special Board Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Royal Independent School District will be held on January 23, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Royal Administration Building 3714 F. M. 359 Pattison, TX 77466.

- RESCHEDULED! The 2024 Annual Home Run Derby and Alumni Game has been rescheduled for January 24th at 4pm, followed by a co-ed slow-pitch softball game for alumni, staff, and players at 6pm.
- January is School Board Recognition Month and Royal ISD is celebrating its trustees for their dedication and commitment to the district and its students.
