A Special Board Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Royal Independent School District will be held January 23, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Royal Administration Building 3714 F. M. 359 Pattison, TX 77466.
Access to the agenda documents will be available the day of the meeting on the RISD website. Individuals who wish to participate in the public comment portion of the meeting may do so by signing up in advance of the meeting. To sign up to speak, that individual must submit their request using the online form or in person using the form by 5:00 pm Tuesday January 23, 2024. The form can be found at: www.royal-isd.net, Public Comment Form. Printed copies are available at the Royal ISD Administration Bldg. At the outset of the public forum, the first 10 speakers to sign up will be called individually and allowed to speak to the Board.

If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E or Texas Government Code section 418.183(f). Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting.
