STEM Academy 5th grader Dakota Johnson will compete in the 10 & Under Double Mugging and 10 & Under Breakaway Calf Roping in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Vegas Tuffest Jr. World Championship held in conjunction with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Dakota set one goal this year, and that was to qualify for Vegas to rope. He practices day, night, and even at recess.
He is excited for this opportunity and can't wait to represent Royal ISD and his community in Las Vegas.
