Royal ISD is proud to announce that the district has received an accountability rating of "B" from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). This is the first time since 2019 that the TEA has handed out the ratings. The rating represents the hard work and dedication of Royal's staff, students, and families as we invest in our tomorrow.
Districts are evaluated on a series of criteria including STAAR scores; college, career and military readiness; state graduation rate; academic growth; relative performance; English language proficiency; and federal graduation rate.
