STEM Falcon Dakota Johnson to Complete at HLSR  Youth Invitational Calf Roping Contest

STEM 4th grader Dakota Johnson is ready to compete on March 10th at Rodeo Houston in the 1st Annual Youth Invitational Calf Roping contest.  Dakota is the son of RISD Operations Administrative Assistant Danielle Johnson.

Dakota qualified by placing in the top 15 at the Next Generation Calf Roping Qualifier in Bryan, Texas. Competitors stand to win a share of $23,000 in prizes at the March 10 contest. Dakota is excited for the opportunity and is ready to represent Royal ISD.

JUNIOR INVITATIONAL BREAKAWAY AND TIE-DOWN ROPING EVENT
A new Junior Invitational Breakaway and Tie-Down Roping event will be held Thursday, March 10 in NRG Arena. Youth contestants in this event qualified in their respective divisions to earn a position. Fifteen contestants in each of six divisions will compete for added money of $23,000, plus various prizes.
