Royal ISD is proud to announce that Board of Trustees President Scott Hartman has been selected to participate in the 2026–2027 Leadership TASB program, one of the state’s premier leadership development programs for school board trustees.

Hartman is one of only 36 school board members from across Texas selected through a competitive committee process to participate in this year’s class.

Established in 1993, Leadership TASB provides advanced training designed to strengthen trustees’ leadership and governance skills while creating opportunities to learn alongside and build connections with school board members from across the state. Participants explore key issues facing Texas public schools and further develop the knowledge and skills needed to serve their local communities effectively.

Hartman’s selection reflects his commitment to continued growth, strong governance, and service to the students, staff, families, and community of Royal ISD.
