Royal Independent School District will proudly celebrate a historic milestone with the groundbreaking of its new comprehensive high school, marking the beginning of a transformational project made possible through the overwhelming support of voters during the November 2025 Fall bond election proposition in the amount of 350 million dollars. As one of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas, this new campus represents the community's commitment to investing in students, preparing for continued growth, and ensuring future generations have access to exceptional learning opportunities. The groundbreaking ceremony will bring together students, staff, community members, elected officials, and project partners to celebrate the exciting future of Royal ISD.

The new high school will serve approximately 3,000 students and is designed to provide state-of-the-art academic spaces, expanded Career and Technical Education programs, fine arts facilities, athletic venues, and collaborative learning environments that prepare students for any path they choose after high school.
