Update on the RHS Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremony

Dear RHS 2020 Graduates,

Due to the recent prediction of inclement weather conditions, the RHS Graduation Ceremony has been moved to the PAC (Performing Arts Center) and will be conducted as a celebration of each individual graduate’s accomplishments. In doing so, we will adhere to state and local safety guidelines.

We have been diligently watching both local and national weather forecasts. Rain and strong winds predicted, and a tropical system is forming in the Gulf of Mexico.  We want to ensure that all students are in a safe environment for the ceremony.

The graduation ceremony is still scheduled for 8:00pm on Friday, July 24, 2020.  As a safety precaution, we will restrict attendance to graduates only. Falcon masks will be provided to each graduate to use during the event. Parents and guests are asked to remain in their vehicles during the event. The ceremony will be "Live Streamed" for everyone to view and enjoy, and the recording will be provided.

The ceremony will recognize the achievements of each individual graduate while adhering to the TEA guidelines for hybrid ceremonies (compilation video of students filmed individually), including pre-screening for COVID-19 symptoms for all participants, social distancing, the requirement of masks in compliance with the governor’s executive order, and the communication of all safety procedures to graduates and staff prior to the event. Each graduate will be called individually to the PAC. Their name will be called, they will receive their diploma, and they will take a photo with school officials. Upon completion of their portion, each student will be directed to return to their families.

We would like to extend a special THANK YOU to the entire Royal Falcon Community for their continued support of our outstanding students!

Go Falcons!!!!
