Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,
It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year in Royal ISD-”A Wildly Important Year!”
As your new Superintendent, I am honored to join this extraordinary community of learners, educators, and families. Over the past month as Superintendent of Royal ISD, I have seen the power of positivity, community, and the strong commitment by all to Investing in Our Tomorrow.
Tomorrow, August 13th, marks the first day of school — a fresh start, a new chapter, and the beginning of a year filled with possibility.
This year, as with every school year, our mission is clear: to ensure that every student feels seen, supported, loved, and is challenged to reach their highest potential. We are focusing on what matters most — meaningful learning, strong relationships, and the kind of growth that lasts far beyond the classroom or any one school year.
We know the start of school brings a range of emotions — from nerves to excitement — and we are ready to meet our students with open hearts and instill a love for learning in them each day through their school experiences. Our educators have been hard at work preparing engaging lessons, nurturing environments, and new opportunities that reflect our collective commitment to excellence.
I look forward to seeing students on campuses tomorrow, and continuing to connect with families in the coming weeks and months. Together, we’ll build on what makes Royal ISD special and work side-by-side to make this an incredible school year.
