Royal ISD’s Alicia Russo-Murrell Named Region 4 Teacher of the Year Finalist

Royal ISD is proud to announce that Alicia Russo-Murrell has been named a 2025 Region 4 Teacher of the Year Finalist, a prestigious honor that recognizes outstanding educators.

The Region 4 Teacher of the Year program celebrates excellence in education and honors teachers who inspire both students and peers. Russo-Murrell is featured in the official Region 4 announcement video, which can be viewed below (start at the 1:08 marker).

Russo-Murrell, a dedicated educator at Royal High School, is known for her student-centered approach, innovative teaching strategies, and unwavering commitment to student growth and success. Her selection as one of the top finalists in Region 4 is a testament to the powerful impact she makes in her classroom every day.
