Royal ISD celebrated a major milestone today with a ceremonial “beam signing” at the construction site of the district’s upcoming Agricultural (Ag) Expo Center. The event marked a significant step forward in the development of the facility.
Students, staff, school board members, and community members gathered at the site to sign a steel beam that will become part of the final structure. The symbolic act represents the district’s commitment to agricultural education and the long-standing tradition of student involvement in FFA and Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs.
The new Ag Expo Center will provide modern, multi-functional space for livestock shows, student exhibitions, hands-on learning, and more. Today’s beam signing reflects both progress and partnership as the district continues its work to enhance educational opportunities for all students.
