Extracurricular Activity: History in the Making

Help your children create a tangible source of their own history! The current situation is a part of living history that will be discussed for generations to come. Schools are closed, people are quarantined on a global level. Encourage your child to keep a journal over the coming weeks. Handwritten, typed, pictures, drawings.

Record events, daily activities, fears, and feelings. If they'd prefer, let them make a video journal. As parents, let them interview you and be a part of it. When it's all over, save it and store it in a safe place so that they can share it one day with their own children and grandchildren.
