Congratulations to Falcon Class of 2019 Valedictorian Shauna Odum. Shauna graduated summa com laude from Trinity University with B.S. in Neuroscience. While at Royal High School, Shauna was part of the first graduating class of the Early College High School program. Shauna participated in UIL Academics all four years and qualified for state in her senior year. Shauna was also a varsity cheerleader, NHS officer, and two-time SkillsUSA Quiz Bowl State Champion.
Outside of her major at Trinity University, Shauna has focused many courses in computer science and data science. She has performed research in a biology lab for three years focusing on the hormonal impacts on behavior in lizards. Shauna was also chosen to be a peer tutor and teaching assistant for the introductory biology classes for her last five semesters. In addition to her scholarly focus, Shauna has served as an officer in Trinity Women in Science and Technology and as an executive officer in her sorority.
Upon graduation, Shauna will be working as an associate for PWC in Atlanta in their Cloud & Digital Technology Consulting practice.
