Congratulations to Royal High School Head Boys Soccer Coach Christian Guzman on presenting at the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Coaches Conference!

Coach Guzman had the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience with coaches from across the state, presenting on the processes behind building a successful program. His passion for developing student-athletes, creating a winning culture, and building a program founded on discipline, accountability, and relationships continues to make a lasting impact, not only at Royal ISD, but throughout Texas.

We are incredibly proud to have Coach Guzman represent Royal ISD on such a prestigious stage. His willingness to share ideas and invest in the growth of fellow coaches is a testament to the leadership and excellence he brings to our athletic department every day.

Royal ISD coaches completed CPR and First Aid training today with our new Athletic Trainer, McKenna Willig.

The safety and well-being of our student-athletes remain a top priority, and this training helps ensure our coaches are prepared to respond confidently in an emergency. We appreciate Coach Willig for sharing her knowledge and helping our staff get ready for the year ahead.

Royal High School students, are you interested in sports, medicine, or helping athletes stay healthy and perform at their best? Royal High School students now have the opportunity to become part of the Royal ISD Sports Medicine Program!

Under the leadership of Athletic Trainer Coach McKenna Willig, students will gain valuable hands-on experience by assisting with the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries while supporting Falcon athletic teams throughout the school year.

This program is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in careers in sports medicine, athletic training, physical therapy, nursing, medicine, or other healthcare professions. Participants will develop leadership skills, learn about injury prevention and treatment, and play an important role in supporting Royal ISD Athletics.

What an incredible week at UCA Cheer Camp for our Royal High School Cheerleaders!

Our Falcons continue to make us proud with their hard work, determination, and outstanding performances!

Overall, camp was a tremendous success! Our cheerleaders built new skills, gained confidence, made lasting friendships with athletes from other schools, and most importantly, had a blast. Every experience at camp helped them grow as teammates and leaders.

This squad definitely left its mark at UCA Cheer Camp, and we're excited to see that momentum carry into the school year. They are looking forward to a successful football season, an exciting competition season, and continuing to represent Royal High School with pride, spirit, and excellence.
