GOALS

Royal ISD offers Transitional Bilingual Program with Early Exit model. Transitional Bilingual Program with Early Exit model is a biliteracy program that serves students identified as Emergent Bilinguals. Students acquire academic English and Spanish through listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities within the content areas. Academic subjects are taught to all students in both English and Spanish. In grades PK – Grade 5, English instruction minutes increase as students are being prepared for the English rigor at the higher grade level.
