The Royal School Board approved $500 Retention Bonuses for all 2021-2022 district employees. The bonus is being provided as a gesture of gratitude for their work and sacrifices during the COVID-19 pandemic. The checks were delivered on December 14 to all employees. To quote one of our Falcon ECC students, "Thank you for making my teacher so happy."
“We ask so much of our employees in a normal year,” said RISD Superintendent Rick Kershner. "The past two years have been incredibly difficult ones. We are thankful that our employees continue to show up for our students. These incentives are a small token of our sincerest gratitude for the important and difficult work they do every day.”
