2020 Waller County Fair Breaks Records during Unprecedented Times

With the challenges associated with the COVID pandemic, the Waller County Fair operated and conducted its business on a modified schedule. Over 350 4-H and FFA students from the Waller, Hempstead, and Royal communities competed for prizes, awards, and the chance to sell in the Jr. Livestock Auction.

Livestock were exhibited, and placed for sale order at the fairgrounds, and then returned to their homes off-site.

The auction was held this past Saturday. A large crowd from the county and surrounding areas were present to support the Agricultural youth of  Waller County. Last year's sale was a record at $817,000+. Again, with the challenges associated with COVID 19, this year's sale topped $911,000 with add-ons still pouring in (NEW RECORD)! Add-ons will be accepted until October 16.

The sale with add-ons is expected to reach close to $1,000,000 when it's all said and done. ROYAL FFA students completed and won many Champion and Reserve Champion honors!

Thanks to all who support our mission and vision of livestock project exhibition. Following is a list of results and sale numbers as of 10/5/2020.  A complete listing of all show and sale results will be available after add-on submissions conclude.
