The RISD Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Junior High "Project Lead The Way" (PLTW) is rated Distinguished in all PLTW programs nationwide! We focus on engineering, and every year participate in Robotics and Lego League competitions.
STEM/Early College High School (ECHS) serves 430 Royal ISD Students? We have approximately 180 students enrolled in 2nd-5th grades, 125 students enrolled in 6th-8th grades, and 125 students in our ECHS program! We are growing tremendously each year.
Our PLTW Engineering program begins at 2nd grade and continues into the Senior year of high school.
Our ECHS students have the opportunity to earn 60 college credit hours by graduation; this can result in $40,000 to $60,000 in college savings.
We currently are welcoming 2nd grade 2-Way Dual Language students and we are so excited for this new adventure!
