blood drive

Royal ISD Health Science students and teachers partnered with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for a blood drive on 12/5/2019. Fifty-five units were collected, which will save approximately 165 lives. Every donation can save as many as three lives. In a medical emergency, often the most important element is the availability of blood. Blood donations can help a variety of individuals: trauma victims, surgery patients, premature babies, individuals with anemia, cancer patients, and many more.  A huge thank you to RISD Health Science staff and students for giving back!
