Royal High School CTE Health Science Students Give Back

Royal High School sophomore Jimena Vences had a burning desire to help others. She decided to make boxes for Operation Christmas Child, which uses gift-filled shoeboxes to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Each November thousands of churches, schools, groups and individual donors prepare and collect shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, personal items, and other small gifts. Jimena’s passion for serving others spread and she formed a group that collected and assembled 42 boxes. The cost to ship each box was $9, and The Roof Depot generously partnered with the group to assist with the financial costs. Click here to learn more about this worthy cause. Thank you, Jimena!
